7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. (Matt 7:7-8)
We find ourselves in the rut of yesterday when we stop embracing kingdom cultures and attitudes for our sojourn in God.
Ask, seek and knock are attitudes interwoven in the reality of a living relationship with God. It is a real time engagement, and this is not limited to the ephemeral, but it encompasses the TOTAL NEED of man.
How hungry are you?
How desperate are you?
Are you full? Then you are in trouble
Because God calls the hungry Blessed!
We should not be too quick to settle for a spiritual parameter. That it is accurate TODAY does not mean it would propel you forward TOMORROW.
We must ask and keep asking, we must seek and keep seeking, we must knock and keep knocking.
The kingdom is not found by chance, it is the result of deliberate engagement, inquiry and journey.
Don’t be too confident , God is Spirit! You can’t cage Him into the box of your perfect ideology.
What have you known of Him today?
Go back and ASK tomorrow! You can SEE AGAIN. You can know what you have known before.
If the path of the righteous is as a shinning light that keeps increasing in brightness, it tells me that there is a daily provision for a further comprehension of the Divine.
Your questions are not rooted in unbelief. This is about the quest of a searching heart that would not rest until the fulness of God has been found, embraced and embodied.
A heart that is humble would not be turned way.
You don’t ask because you doubt, but you ask because you have known. You seek because He has brought you into a place in Him, and at the back of that transaction is a beckoning to come for MORE
Every revelation of God to you is an invitation to come for MORE.
A thirsty soul is a living soul.
Therefore, when you think you’ve found God and you can ‘settle with the bread of yesterday’, my dear friend, something is wrong!
God is ENDLESS! Forever and ever and ever we would live in the unravelling of this mysterious beauty
We should be at peace with God’s Mysterious nature. If you serve a God you can cage into a perspective or thought pattern, that my friend is not the TRUE GOD.
I don’t have all the answers right now, and we may never have all answers on this side, because God reserves the right to do as He Wills, out of His overflowing goodness towards us.
But I haven’t stopped asking. I haven’t stopped seeking and I won’t stop knocking.
The river of life has a culture, it is ever flowing. If we would see the flow of that river through us into the nations of the earth, then we must stay in the place of constant interaction with the Person of Life. The river of life is not stagnant, don’t settle, keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking.
Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.(Hosea 6:3 Kjv)
